About us

Budapest SmartFest has grown to become the most important and influential technology-and-art platform in the Central European region, as well as an international AI film festival.

Every year, a distinguished preliminary jury and main jury select the shortlisted films - which viewers can see on the big screen - as well as the winning films. The preliminary jury consists of students majoring in Media Design at MOME, advertising professionals, and film club members, while the main jury - comprising classical film experts, animation specialists, researchers, and leading members of the Hungarian AI community - jointly selects the best works.
